VORTEXPROM bag filters have a filtration degree from 1 micron to 1000 microns (depending on the installed bag filter elements). They are also used for cleaning aggressive and heated liquids. The difference between main bag filters for industrial water purification is in simplicity, reliability and efficiency of use. A high degree of filtration up to 1 micron is an important advantage of bag type filters. The operating principle of liquid bag filters:
Liquid is supplied through the upper branch pipe, passes through the filter bag and the basket in which it is installed, the purified liquid exits the lower branch pipe. The dirt remains inside the bag, the bags are replaced as needed.
To replace the bag, it is necessary:
1. Loosen the hinge bolts and remove the cover;
2. Unscrew the pressure screw, remove the pressure plate;
3. Remove the contaminated bag and install a new one.
Bag filters for coarse mechanical cleaning liquids are pressure filters, but they have a small resistance and pressure drop on the bag filter, therefore they are often used for viscous liquids where it is necessary to maintain pressure as much as possible.
