The use of the CMD5 oil blending unit allows you to save 35.5 kW of electricity per 1000 liters of oil
As you know, the classic method of blending lubricating oils is mixing with heating for a certain time.
For example, in order to produce 10W 40 automotive oil, it is necessary to mix a thickener and an additive package into the base oil. For their complete mixing according to classical technology, the oil is heated to a temperature of 80 degrees Celsius and stirred for 4 hours.
To heat 1000 liters of oil from 15 to 80 degrees Celsius, we will need 24 kW of electricity. To maintain this temperature with minimal heat loss of the reactor - about 5 kW more.Mixing for four hours will take about 8 kW. In total, we get a total electricity consumption of about 37 kW (if the heating is carried out by electric heaters).
When producing oil using the MD5 installation, we will spend 0.75 kW of electricity per 1000 liters for preliminary averaging of components and another 0.75 kW will be consumed by the CMD5 installation itself. As a result, we get 1.5 kW per 1000 liters. The savings are 35.5 kW per 1000 liters of oil.
When the cost of electricity is 9 rub/kW, we get savings of 319.5 rubles per 1000 liters of product. With a production capacity of 63 barrels of oil per day (or 12,700 liters), the installation pays for itself in one year only due to the saved electricity.
